Feature – Automatic Reminders about Your Most Important Goals
Hi Member Name,
There’s a great quote from Lewis Carroll’s book,
“Alice in Wonderland”. It comes from Alice’s conversation with the
Mad Hatter and it relates to how life can easily cause you to focus
on the wrong things. Here’s what Alice says:
“Nobody tells us to study the right things we
do. We’re only supposed to learn from the wrong thing first, in
order to learn what not to do. And then, by not doing what I am
not supposed to do, perhaps I’ll be right. But I’d rather be right
the first time, wouldn’t you?”
That idea, of focusing on the right things first,
is one of the reasons we created StepOne. We wanted to create a website
that helped people easily capture their goals and then give them
a way to keep those goals top of mind.
How many times have you looked back on your life
and realized that you’ve drifted away from the things and goals that
are most important to you? Instead of thinking about your most important
goals you end up thinking about things that worry or irritate you.
The world will easily give you all you can think of when it comes
to worries and troubles.
The fact is, many of us begin the year with great
ambitions and clarity on what’s most important. Then life gets busy
and we slowly forget to keep those motivating and powerful thoughts
foremost in our minds.
We recently started thinking about how to keep our
most important goals in our thoughts. To be sure, we’ve got our printed
Vision Boards and our on-line one as well. However, with time, those
images can fade into the background of life.
So we did something simple. We created a ‘Remind
Me’ button for each goal. It’s as easy as clicking the
‘Remind Me’ button and you’ll be sent a weekly or monthly reminder
e-mail of your goal. For longer term goals, the reminder will be
sent to you once per month. For shorter term goals, you’ll get
a reminder once per week.
It’s simple but you’ll be surprised at how an e-mail
with your goal and image can get you back on track.
If you’d like to see a 90 second video overview
of how the ‘Remind Me’ button works just click on the image below.
Once the YouTube page has opened, select ‘720HD’ for the best viewing
experience.

Here’s to you keeping your most important goals at
the top of your mind and to your success.
