What kind of Coaches are part of the StepOne Coaching Network? For a Coach to be profiled on the StepOne Coaching Network they need to have membership in a professional organization that subscribes to a professional Code of Conduct. How much does it cost to use a Coach and who do I pay? As an independent Coach and business person each Coach sets their own rates. When you speak with your prospective Coach be sure to ask how much they charge per hour, if they offer sessions shorter than one hour and if there is a requirement for a minimum number of sessions. If you are a StepOne Member you will receive a 10% discount off of the Coach’s normal rates. All payment goes directly to the Coach. StepOne does not get involved in the payment process between the Coach and their Client. Do StepOne Members get a discount? Yes, any StepOne Members that uses a Coach from the StepOne Coaching Network will receive a 10% discount on any coaching fees. What are benefits of using a Coach? Coaches can provide you with new ideas on how to reach your goals and experience happiness. Coaches can help you apply proven concepts and support in overcoming emotional and belief based obstacles. Coaches can also help you stay accountable to your highest priorities and aspirations. How do I know if a Coach is right for me? To start with get clear on what you want from a Coach. As a base line you must be willing to change and be Coached before seeking out a Coach. From there recognize that Coaching is as much about the relationship you have with the Coach as it is the knowledge they offer. Ask for references, the training they have received and how many clients they have worked with before. Also ask the prospective Coach about the process they follow on Coaching and how they would work with you. Listen carefully and trust your instincts. Also consider talking to more than one Coach before making a final decision. How will I interact with my Coach There are two ways Coaches will interact with their clients – in person and over the phone. Given StepOne Members and visitors to the site come from all over the world all Coaches on the StepOne Coaching Network are comfortable and experienced in Coaching client over the phone. If the Coach you choose is in the same City as you then feel free to work them face to face.
